Description
Slumbering Woods is a cosy, hand-drawn exploration and crafting adventure set in a world recovering from a long-past climate catastrophe. You play as a travelling herbalist working to restore an isolated village overtaken by rising swamp waters while reconnecting its scattered community. Shape the landscape by growing floating mushroom islands, cultivate plants based on their unique environmental needs, and gather resources to craft tools and materials with the help of the village’s skilled inhabitants.
As you explore, uncover ancient lore, discover forgotten crafting recipes in old books, and unravel the mysteries tied to the village and its surroundings. Customise your own abandoned hut, build relationships with the locals, and make impactful choices that influence the recovering ecosystem. With a flexible day/night cycle, you set the pace—work during the day, socialise in the evening, and track your progress in your journal as you bring the village back to life.
